Sky Cancellation

HI Guys
I sent a sky cancellation request by email to give 31 days notice. I then received several emails advising that i need to contact them to go through security. Is this correct. If so why advise that you can email them in the first place?

No they're lying to you.




The above is sarcasm.




Of course it's true, why else would they tell you that. They also want to retain you which is harder to do via email. The email option is so that they can ask you to phone.

If you want rid of it, phone them up. Find a freephone number. Expect attempts to retain you as a customer, primarily by offering a discount if you stay for another 18 months, but feel free to say no to all of these.
