One-trip car hire to Heathrow T5

I'm looking for a one-trip car-hire service to travel 100miles to Heathrow T5 in November 2019. Besides checking all the major names in car hire, are there are tips, tricks or offers I should be aware of on getting the best deal?

One-trip? Do you mean one-way?

If so, Europcar does a special deal where you can hire a car for 24 hours for £1 to help them out by delivering cars for them from city locations to airport locations. There's a very limited number of cars available and you don't get to choose what the car is (so no good if you have a big family and lots of luggage). But it can be a very cheap way to get to the airport if you can be a bit flexible and they have availability.

I've used it a couple of times and it's worked well.

Hertz operates a similar scheme here but they seem to have fewer routes/cars and never seem to have anything that suits the locations I need.
