    Good shout, I'd forgotten Talktalk's no price rise guarantee,

    Though that presumably only means "during the contract" the price may still rise when it is over?

    I think most providers are now doing a no in contract price rises thing, plus.net suggested to me the regulator had made them, though I don't know how true that was.

    I don't know how true it is either, more likely is fact regulator has forced them to allow leaving without penalty if price rises during contract

    Of course it's only during the life of the (minimum term) contract but in Talktalk's case that is 2 years.
