Avoiding Recurrent Payment with Creditcard
Comments

We phoned them. I do hope this can be resolved, I’m so stressed over it.0
-
Would it stop them taking payment if I cancelled our credit card account completely and got a totally different one?0
-
It seems cancelling a credit card may not be the best option as the provider may still honour any pending payments.
Has the card provider refused to stop the CPA?0 -
Credit card provider say they have blocked future payments to the company0
-
Then there's no need to go cancelling the card.0

The recurring payment is annually around end November. So if I close my credit card account surely this would stop them? Also credit card company have said they placed a block on future payments.0
-
But the point remains - there is no need to close it, surely or otherwise.0

Ok thank you I understand. The whole process is disgraceful and extremely stressful.0

Thanks everyone for helpful advice. Managed to speak to Cleverbridge who are the recurring payment company. I will get credited the amount they took and got email confirmation from them a few moments ago. Also credit card company have blocked them
