I presume you have a cat/dog? make sure that their flea treatment is up to date 1st.
I also use Indorex, give carpets, rugs and furniture a good spray especially along skirting boards, then vac everyday for 7 days, the vibration makes the eggs/larve hatch and what is not vacuumed up is killed by the spray.
If your problem is bad you may need to repeat the process a couple of times.

  • Home made flea trap - put a plate with soapy water under a spotlight overnight in the affected room.

The fleas go to the light and bounce into the water and drown.

Note that if you don't use soap they can get out.

Get the professionals in. If it the house is infested and not the pets, council did mine left by the previous owners for £60 or so, after I’d wasted about £40 on cans of spray. My tip is vacuum before we weren’t allowed to vacuum for 2 weeks after.

The problem with flea infestations is that you kill the fleas but there are still eggs handing around so you then get another generation, and another and another ... From memory when I had one zillions of years ago, it took several weeks to get clear - and that was after banishing next door's cat who had caused the problem in the first place.
