Best signal and offers for my location

My contact is due to run out/end of the 1st November. I’m currently with o2 but I do find there prices to be expensive compared to the deals I’ve been haggling and looked around for.

Ive looked on Ofcom mobile coverage checker and o2/Vodafone they both come out on top for my postcode, however my neighbours don’t seem to have a problem with EE.

However with me being on call, is it a risk if I decide to go with EE as I get a better deal ? with them because of my 20% discount and o2 I get 25% but I find they are pricey but signal comes out on top

Ignore the signal maps, they are a complete waste of time. The only way is to get SIMs and give each one a go in the location you need it most. Then look at the MVNOs for each major network, likely to be cheaper than any of the network's "discount" prices. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_Kingdom_mobile_virtual_network_operators

As above, you can get free sims to try out just for asking on line

The age-old advice about trying out networks with PAYG SIMs is excellent, however it comes with one huge caveat on EE & 3 these days.

EE & 3 use 800Mhz spectrum to improve rural and indoor coverage, but this is only available to "4G-calling" users. This doesn't include PAYG, so therefore an EE PAYG SIM potentially won't give the same coverage as an EE PAYM SIM in the same location.

As far as advice to the OP goes, EE does generally cost a little more than some other providers but that's reflected in their network on the whole. If your neighbours use EE, I'm sure you'll be fine.
