I wouldn't read too much into it.
We could only do viewings at weekends or late evenings so we chose to do them at weekends so as not to disturb the owners late after work.
Pretty sure there are many more in the same situation. You have a viewing that is the main thing. You only need one person to buy the property. This one viewing at the weekend might be them.
Good luck.0 -
Yep, it's all different now, because you can view a house online, you can get a good idea if it's worth a visit. In the good old days, pre-internet you DID rush around to view, but not anymore. There is sooooo much you can do online. I've looked on line at the agents photo's and then a quicj streetview and you see what's next door or across the road and it's off the lits.
That's why you may wait weeks before a viewing - gotta be patient or drop the price.

You've also got to remember that a large proportion of viewers never actual turn up to their appointments. So don't get too excited about having one booked. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Yes, the excitement of doing things in the real world, "viewing" in this case, has transferred to the virtual world, much less hassle, I mean why waste your time actually driving to see a deluded seller who won`t drop their price? (not saying this is you OP) The only thing that might stimulate buyers to come and meet you now is a decent price drop IMO.0 -

One overpriced one I noticed in Devon (even then, the best of a bad selection, and with a number of downsides), dropped its price a couple of weeks ago after holding out for about 6 months. However, the price drop was less than 2.5%, which seems to me like an attention-gimmick, rather than a serious attempt at re-evaluation. I won't be rushing to view. Others around there are dropping by much higher percentages. I'm only really interested in viewing what realistic sellers are trying to sell. There's no point wasting time and money on unrealistic sellers. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
