Mokka or Captur?
Comments
-
Both are inverse tardis cars. Big on the outside, tiny on the inside.
Not really. I've been inside both (drove the Captur for 3.5 years). They are small SUVs. High rooflines, with a footprint no bigger than a super-mini. Inside, I found the Captur slightly roomier than the Mokka (though there's not much in it). In particular, headroom is very good, as you'd expect from the shape.
The Captur's ride quality isn't great - it manages to be both bouncy and hard, which presumably reflects a basic suspension system and an attempt to avoid bodyroll (which is successful). It does have a very tight turning circle, which is quite good fun.0 -
Not sure if I've asked this before (but no trace after search).
Capture:
- low £30 tax, good styling - on the outside, economical.
But:
- basic looking interior, looks crapped e.g. lack of legroom, small engine = it in your lap in a crash!!
Mokka:
- seating looks more stylish and comfortable, looks spacious inside, bigger glass area gives better visibility, even 2016 has CD available (personal preference).
But:
- higher RFT £145 for 1.4 ltr. petrol engine, another 6" longer.
Anybody with experience of these, or recommend something in between? That is - in between size, and engine size.
Yes, well that's pretty much a feature of both those brands I am afraid.0
