Thomas Cook Flights changed

That’s because you should be grateful; you seem to be in this bubble where the world revolves around you.
Also, driving in darkness isn’t necessary - your car should have a small stalk with a picture of lights on it. Turn it, and the darkness goes away!
It’s really no big deal, people drive late after landing all the time. I’m driving 2 hours after an 10 hour flight from LA landing at 1am...
Enjoy your holiday.0 -

I'm intrigued. Where are you flying to from LA?0 -

I think you should be grateful that after your chosen airline has gone into liquidation, when prices are temporarily inflated because supply is not matching demand, and there is a worldwide storage of aircraft caused by the grounding of every 737 Max and the ongoing reliability issues with RR engines on the 787s, your tour operator has managed to secure flights for you and your holiday will go ahead.0 -

We booked the more expensive Thomas Cook flights because we didn't want to fly easyJet, nor arrive back in the UK at close to midnight and then still have the journey home, in darkness and while tired.
It turns out that we are going to get the easyJet flight anyway, the same one that we purposefully avoided to begin with. Most people on this forum seem to think we should be grateful even!
Yes you should be grateful. You've still got a holiday thanks to someone getting you on another flight, which, given that hundreds and hundreds of agents are trying to find flights for thousands of people with a huge hole in the capacity is no mean feat.
You've got a holiday. You've not lost your job like thousands of TC employees. Of course if the flight isn't suitable you can cancel with a refund.0 -
Be grateful. Or at least be accepting. And spare a thought for the people who were meant to be at the pointy end of that flight, who now have no job and probably a massive debt to pay off in respect of their training.0

We booked through Loveholidays for next July, our email said they couldn't book any alternative flights for our destination, so we could have a full refund or a refund in vouchers plus £100 extra. We chose the £100 extra option and completely changed our holiday. Luckily we had only booked our holiday a week before TC went bust so we aren't emotionally attached to that holiday and are flexible with dates.
All the information is on loveholidays website, i'm sure your questions can be answered. We also had to ring them yesterday and they answered straight away and were very helpful. You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0
