i know exactly what you mean, been there done it, my best phrase (and i have said this many a time to children and adults in the middle of a shopping centre) 'yes i am ugly, yes i am fat, wanna pic' ~ when they look at me gormlus and then everyone turns around too i tell them ~ 'no, well fook off and stop staring' :rotfl:god forbid if anyone reconises me after that encounter :rolleyes:

I wonder why we get like this?

Odd isn't it? I spend hours trying to work out why I go out and spend hours making out I am this happy go lucky lady with everything where as in actual fact I don't have a pot to pee in, and an Austistic son!

Then, one day when your guard is down people can't make it out as you are normally "so jolly" as they always tell me :rolleyes:

This doesnt mean you dont have anything ~ it just means you have got something different from what you expected

To a point we make our own happiness and believe it or not, my 5 year old has taught me this.

You are lucky in many ways that some are not.

i guess thats what we need to be reminded of each day, we have many things but i suppose in day to day life you forget :rolleyes: one thing i must say though is having friends (online & off) and family can make the world of difference to someone, and thats coming from someone who as been there done it, if it wasnt for friends here well lets not go there...

Tigtag you are so right....I do indeed have something different and I would not change it for the world but sometimes, just sometimes I just wonder why me! The next person to tell me "it's because God knew you would cope" I will scream and bash them on the head with a limp lettuce leaf!

me too, strangly enough i often wonder if anyones else is going through this, i have been going through my childhood pictures today and thinking oh just to be that young again and grow up differently but i guess we are who we are and we have to make do with what we have.
