Changing Turkish Lira to Euro

Options
Hi, I was due to fly to Turkey today but got cancelled due to Thomas Cook collapse. So I have bought Turkish Lira.
I have managed to get a new holiday to Spain on Thursday so obviously now need Euro.
What is the best way to do this?
I bought them at Tesco, and can change back to pounds with zero commission and then change the pounds to Euro.
The travel agent suggested I take the Lira to Spain and just change straight to Euro as then would only be transaction so only one lot of fees. Would this be better than going back to Tesco and doing it before I travel?
Been a bit of a stressful day and my brain is now frazzled so just can’t decide the best thing to do.

Do as the travel agent suggests otherwise the Turkish lira will be changed into Sterling, generating one lot of fees/mark up, then changed into Euros generating another. Alternatively ask if Tesco will swap them back at no cost, i.e. take the Lira back at the rate you paid then change into Euros
