Hi
If your holiday was cancelled due to the Thomas Cook collapse and the provider you have booked through has confirmed you are ATOL protected and will be getting a full refund, can you still claim on your insurance for a flight failure if covered within your policy?0 -
One or the other. You can't be compensated for the same loss twice.0

My credit card which is paid IN FULL by direct debit is due at the end of this week. It has a Thomas Cook flight and accommodation we will not be using. Should I stop the payment? or allow it to go through and then claim through 75. I spent two hours waiting for the phone to get answered at my bank today.0

Claim through chargeback or S75 but certainly don't block the payment. It's possible if you get in ahead of time that they may not take the disputed amount but definitely don't not pay.0 -

Hi I've booked Disneyland Paris through thomas cook for new year with half board in one of the Disney hotel accommodation. My flights are with Air France. The agent adviced me that they are just booking on behalf of me but DSL are the main package provider. Everything has been paid for. So where do we stand. I Read somewhere that customers with JM reference number should not worry but I am pretty sure all DSL packages from thomas cook reference starts with JM. I thought our ATOL is through DSL paris rather than Thomas Cook. So am I safe with my holiday as everything is through DSL and Air france or am I just been naive :-(0

You may get call from somebody who says they are from Thomas Cook Refunds. They will ask for your name, credit card number, and 3 digit CVV security code. An obvious scam to most people here but some will fall for it.
Just hang up. Thomas Cook are not giving refunds!0 -

I’m in a similar situation, i had 2 holidays booked with TC. One to Turkey which i was supossed to go on on Monday! I have found the ATOL Cert for this holiday. However, i had booked Florida for Sept 2020. This holiday went through a number of changes from adding party members to date changes and going from staying in one hotel to staying in 2 then finally changing it staying on a villa. cause of all these changes my original booking was changed to a Thomas Cook signature holiday. Now the only ATOL certificate i have is for the original booking i was never sent any after all the changes where made.
Is there any way to get a copy now that TC is gone???
Thanks in advance0
