Klm

My klm flight in 4sept was delayed so missed connection at Amsterdam. They rebooked us on flight Amsterdam to Munich with connection there to Budapest. Flight to Munich very delayed leaving Amsterdam so arrived there just too late to make connection to Budapest and were told that flight was overbooked anyway so wouldn’t have got on. Klm refuses compensation. I think they’v knee all flights from Amsterdam at that point were being delayed so foreseeable ours would leave late and miss connection, plus they shouldn’t have put us on overbooked flight. Also offered no help to try and get us to connection gate in another terminal, and their staff had all gone home leaving us to sleep in airport. Any advice?

you also need to include the reason for the initial delay and the reason KLM gave for refusing compensation
Not all delays get compensation
Have not told me reason for second delay.
Isn’t overbooking us enough to justify compensation?
