Thats why I have always bought Sony and not Samsung.
As a former tv engineer of 30 years and 10 of those for Currys,Samsung were always regarded as a budget brand and I was never a fan,although over the years they do seem to have improved though.
Unless their repair agent agrees it is faulty, you will have little chance of a refund.
I know it's been said before but why not buy from John Lewis,or Richer Sounds they price match and give a 5/6 year guarantee as apposed to Currys 1 year.0
