It doesn't state specifically, who the monies would go to. It just states acting on behalf, and contact us to pay...

this site does not tell anyone to IGNORE a private pcn and hasnt done since march 2013, it recommends appealing the initial pcn, plus for BPA members to take it to POPLA as a second stage after the initial refusal , hence that NEWBIES thread you read

this forum does tell people to ignore debt collector letters but not an actual formal official LoC letter, plus not to IGNORE a court claim either

you are not at either of those 2 stages yet

you havent said when this occurred but I suspect that as debt collectors are involved , who have used a tracing agent to trace you , that its far too late for any appeal to be made, so there is nothing you can do but sit on your hands for 6 years , awaiting the 2 items I mentioned above

the DVLA not having your email address is irrelevant

Firstly, I state again, that I am not saying I have been advised to ignore the initial letter. I received the initial letter, then a few days later received the debt collection one. I have just noticed they were sent from the same address???

The parking incident was in July, so has been a while?

Does the solicitor latter count as a debt collection letter then?

    Many thanks

If the solicitor's letter is not a Letter of Claim and is just an attempt to collect an alleged debt, then of course it can be dealt with as one would any debt collector's letter.

not been a while its been 2 months , the parking company or their real solicitors have 6 years (72 months) to issue a court case against you, in your local county court

the advice here is to appeal the initial postal NTK pcn within 28 days , then take it to popla , you havent done those 2 items and too late now

a real solicitors letter (or from the parking company) has financial forms included and 30 days notice before court action, we havent seen your letter so no idea if its a real one of a pimped out letterhead, but we all suspect its the latter due to it saying MAY on it

therefore we believer its not a solicitors letter but a debt collection letter with a so called solicitors logo to fool you , if it said WWF you would have thought the WWF had sent it, even if I had sent it on WWF headed notepaper

due to you failing to follow tghe correct appeal procedures at the appropriate times , you are now in a 6 year wait to see if a real LoC comes , or an MCOL court claim from the CCBC in Northampton

yes its complicated , yes they lie and sc@m people , yes they use pimped out letterheaded paper

nobody here believes its a real LoC and its definitely not a court claim, therefore its ignore and come back if either of those 2 real items arrives in the post

nobody here is interested in debt collector letters
