    Which party have said they will definitely abolish UC?

    So not definite. I agree with NedS. We are where we are. Resources should be directed to making UC work not trying to start over again. UC is not without good points. The system it replaces was/is hardly smooth and efficient either.
    Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

    Unless there's a change of party
    I'm convinced UC rollover will be complete.
    Hopefully no later 20203.
    I prefer stability to take away any unnecessary concerns.

    If the DLA to PIP change over is anything to go by then i wouldn't like to bet on the process being complete by 2023.

    People are still waiting to be invited to apply for PIP more than 6 years after PIP started.
  • ^^^ thats true a neighbour is still on DLA

    Of course it has, they won't just stop the transfer once it started because DLA no longer exists.

    What’s your point. The suggestion was that if delays to the DLA to PIP transfers are anything to go by (along with previous delays to UC rollout) there is a strong likelihood that the completion of UC migration will not be completed by the current target date of 2023.

    @calcotti
    I don't believe the delays from Dla to pip will have any bearing on UC completion time.
    Different Benefits, different times
    Though I'm not qualified to say when UC will be complete only my thoughts that I personally believe UC will be complete by end 2023 -if there are some that are left lagging behind then I've no idea of their circumstances.

    The move to UC 'might' be completed by 2023, whether it will be completed effectively,fairly and with no unfortunate consequences for recipients is another matter. Just call me a cynic!
