This happened to me with Ebay, though on a much smaller scale. I had a 100% feedback, been and ebayer for a few years, but suddenly sold a few largish unusual high value items. Like the OP, when asked, I gave them the proofs of delivery, supplier invoices, personal bank and credit card statements, etc., but it took them SIX MONTHS to even open and look at the case, because it was impossible to get past the email and call centre CS assistants who had no power and refused to escalate my complaints. I would never use Ebay again. It is perfectly reasonable for them to temporarily put a hold on things, but if they do, the least they should do is give you a proper direct contact to work with and then release their hold as soon as they are satisfied. Sounds like Amazon are a law unto themselves just like Ebay - I'll stay clear!0
