Trade secret christmas offer

Hi

I'd like to share a great little christmas offer I found with you.

You can get a Babyliss hair dryer, really good ceramic straighteners and a free case worth £19.99 from for just £88 which includes the posting costs.

The babyliss gift set is on sale by Health and Beauty Wear who supply my hairdressers with uniforms. I found out about the offer from a trade newsletter we get from them.

I've looked on Amazon and they charge the prices below:

Babyliss Pro Hair Dryer: £19.99
Babyliss Pro 'The Straightener': £79.99
With postage this comes to nearly £110

As you can see the offer is for just £88 and you also get a free case.

I bought the set in Pink for a present and I have worked out you get the hairdryer and case free when you buy the straighteners.

Would recommend them as a good value present as they are the babyliss pro range which is meant to be for professionals. Mine arrived this morning. I'm very happy with the case too. It's good quality and has wheels and is a great little travel case.

Told a few of my friends over the past few days so I hope they have them left.

This a link to the page hope it works.

    Wonder what this means

The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their
address omitted from the WHOIS service.

If you are a 'consumer' (i.e. an individual who has registered and is using the domain name for a purpose that is not connected with business) it is possible to opt out of having your address details published on the WHOIS.

Looks like they shouldnt be running a business website from that address...

    very dodgy

I don't really understand what you are talking about but I know they are not dodgy, I wore their uniforms at college.

We have used them for years as a uniform supplier for my hairdressers.

I've even taken my staff to see their stand at the GMEX beauty north exhibition.

In the hairdresing industry they are a very well respected company. Grab yourself a copy of National Hairdressers Magaine, Guild News, Professional Beauty or any other hair trade publication and you will see adverts of them.

Its not really very nice saying I bought presents for my family from a dodgy company.

The babyliss stuff is great, I paid for it on my card and got it next day. very happy with it.

What address? The one they have on prominent display at the bottom of the webpage?
  • Seems expensive to me when you can get the same straightners and a better hairdryer for £59.93 delivered from Amazon.

    Or am i missing something??
  • Please give a thread a sensible name - just "trade secret christmas offer" means nothing - describe in the title/subject what your thread is about so no-one wastes time blindly looking in case it might be relevant.
  • Hi

Sorry about the forum post title, not sure how to change it. Any help appreciated.

Hi saintscouple, the Straighteners offered are much better than the ones you have found. They are listed at £79.99 on Amazon here:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Babyliss-Pro-Straightener-designed-Professionals/dp/B000P3IS7O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=personal&qid=1195904207&sr=1-1

The hairdryer is listed at £19.99 here on amazon:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Babyliss-Passion-Power-Hairdryer-1600w/dp/B000Y9X58G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen&qid=1195904613&sr=1-1

You can see how it adds up. £88 is really a good price.

My friend called this morning to say she had recieved hers so no problem at all.

    regards.

I think he meant spam in the sense that this may well be your website? TBPF, it's not the sort of amazing bargain that would prompt me to write my first post on here, which is not to say you own the site, of course.
