Parkdirectuk 2 pcn in 1 day

Hi Guys,
I have received 2 PCN notices from Parkdirectuk in the space of less than 6 hours.
first at 03:09am 11/09/2019
second at 08:59am 11/09/2019
both at Fresh Mill Lane UB1 2NP off lady margaret road.
I have been as a resident in this are for close to 5 years now and have been issued a parking permit by the landlord of the area which i have displayed in my windscreen at all times.
i have had a fine by parkdirectuk before which i successfully appealed to them back in Nov 2013, when i emailed them at aol.com email address. I believe i eventually wrote into them and i had it overturned.
However in my area now i have seen other cars being issued Yellow PCN on their windscreen and thought nothing of it as i have a permit, but having received 2 letters in the post i feel slightly intimidated to park there again until i get a successful appeal from IAS or from Parkdirectuk directly.
The newbie thread i have read the blue text advised to others but i really does not feel it applies in my case, or maybe i am being naive?
Should i following the IAS method of appeal or as i have read on this forum quite extensively to simply avoid any letter through the post and await for them to give up entirely which seems a bit daunting in all honesty if you receive letters in the post every week/month from bailiffs and such.
i managed to find a email address on the notice which they have displayed dpo@parkdirectukltd.co.uk which seems to be the email of the data protection officer at park direct, so not sure what use that will be to me.
Any advise would be helpful, eagerly awaiting.
Regards,
K Soze

Just send the blue text appeal, do not bother after that with the kangaroo court that is IAS. Sending the original appeal and receiving a reject notice is part of the game to show you have engaged with the PPC should it come to court.0

the blue text appeal i can send, but as they do not have a email appeal application i feel i will have to post it to them.
They did send the original documents to my parents address which is in the same town but i did not pick them up till yesterday.
My Landlord are saying they sent out letters to all residents back in May and July, but having seen the paperwork i can confirm i did not receive any such paperwork from them, which i am contesting with them.
My Landlord company are also telling me to pay the current PCN and apply for a new permit.
I've now changed cars also, so i will have to apply for this anyway for my new car. The old car has been changed to my dad so i do not want to leave him with any issues.0 -
The landlord agency sent me a copy of the letter which they sent to all residents, funny story, my number is not on the list they sent it to.
I replied to her to inform her of this and told her its proof nothing has been sent to me about this parking permit issue.
Also the local council are involved with this and are looking to get in touch with me about this issue.0 -
Unlike in 2013, Park Direct are now AOS members of the IPC and so you will see from the NEWBIES thread post #3 that there is no independent appeal, no POPLA on offer.
So this will be a pain and will not be cancelled unless the landowner will.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

RE:coupon-mad
Thanks for the info, lets wait and see what the local council and my landlord agency have to say with regards to the matter of not being informed of the new parking permit which i apparently needed and also the council with regards to the public highway, private land scenario.
I'll keep you'll updated, but having read through some of the other posts on this forum, i'm optimistic about my case.0 -
so my landlord agency are not willing to budge on this, are insistent i pay parkdirectuk otherwise my car may be removed, (i dont have the car anymore)
we are a series of 3-4 locations on one road and all the properties are managed by the landlord agency. In a initial email they sent, she claimed the council had enforced this through parkdirectuk and the council are saying Fresh Mill Lane is adopted by ealing council the bays are private and are private and therefore a PCN can be issued is parkdirectuk feel a contravention has occured.
MY plan of action is follows:
copy blue text from Newbies thread and appeal by post directly to parkdirectuk, without any edits or mentions of my dealing with landlord agency, as this may cause to much to and fro.
if i do copy the entire blue text, should i amend or delete anything from this.
i also feel i should at the same time make the landlord agency admit they were wrong in all this as they did not send my any letters to my address or post and letters or notices up at my entrance, but did at other entrances on this street, all other entrances, i have never used, i cant use as it does not give me access to my particular location.
Any other suggestions would be welcome0 -
Use the blue text appeal in its entirety, with no additions, deletions or modifications.0

Thank you Le Kirk, i shall proceed as per your instruction and keep you guys updated on the events which occur henceforth

There is no such entity. Do you mean landlord or managing agent. In matters such as this. which are liable to end up in court, accuracy is a sine qua non.

What did it say?
What does your lease/AST say about parking? Exact wording please.
Have you read this?

Is Primacy of Contract applicable?
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking CompaniesYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
