We have had Karndean fitted in the kitchen and to be honest we are far from happy because it is all scratched were kitchen chairs are moved backwards and forwards towards the table.

Which range were your tiles from (Knight Tile, Van Gogh, etc.)? That's my only concern with LVT (or any product in the kitchen). Unlike living rooms, etc., where furniture isn't moved much, kitchen chairs are constantly being moved back and forth. Typical solutions such as those wee ashtray-thingies that go under the legs aren't suitable in the kitchen.

I haven't had any issues of scratches on my LVT floor despite heavy abuse however to be fair , I did select commercial grade lvt (comes with a thicker layer of something that I cannot remember anymore !)
