POPLA help - PCN whilst giving blood

POPLA rather..0

You could have been taken there (and arranged to be driven home), therefore a passenger in your own car due to feeling nervous on the way there and knowing you would feel light headed after having given "very nearly an armful of blood" [older readers will get the reference.] It is not for you to disprove anything, it is for the claimant/PPC to PROVE their case - don't help them! Thanks for your input. Probably a silly question so please forgive me, but what exactly constitutes an admittal of driving?
In my original appeal I addressed myself as the registered keeper, but I did attach the letter from NHS Blood confirming my appointment time etc. Would this fluff up my POPLAR appeal/would you recommend not including this document in the POPLAR appeal at all? If I have messed that appeal route up, can you suggest any other alternative angle? Thanks very much0 -
Hi to those that initially assisted:
Just a small update..
I did the blasphemous thing and paid up due to a lack of time to follow up on the POPLA appeal.. But based on your replies I did send a final complaint to the landowners and got my MP involved.. And today received a cheque in the post with a refund from SP!
Thanks for your initial advice all.0 -
Well done, literally blood out of a stone.
You could go to the local press about this whole episodeFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Hallelujah!! It's a miracle!
So whose intervention worked ... the landowner's or the MP's?0 -
Thanks
Half_way - Haha, I was definitely tempted!
MistyZ - I can only assume the landowners finally got a bit worried/sick of me carrying it on, and after the last complaint and an email on top from the MP to sort themselves out and they contacted SP to cancel to shut me up
Cheers0 -
well done .... :j
I hope you have taken something from this and refuse to pay and fight next time .......

When landed with a parking charge plus, potentially, 6 years of feeling a little apprehensive at the very least, making landowners sick of the sight of emails from the aggrieved party is absolutely justified.
Anyone in receipt of a PCN should put aside all feelings of guilt at being a right royal pain in the arsenal where landowner complaints are concerned. So glad you persevered!0 -
First of all, thank you for being a blood doner. I used to but can no longer do so for medical reasons.
Whilst I am horrified that you paid, (don't do it again) I am glad you got your money back. Cash that cheque pronto if you haven't already.
I suggest you contact local and national press about the disgusting behaviour by unregulated scammers whilst you were saving lives and warn others using the same site.
A charity indeed, behaving in such a way is no charity at all. They should be ashamed of themselves.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
