..... or I could park at my Mums and go straight from Oxford.... will have to investigate that one! I could drive but I'm not sure my car would survive the journey!

I'll have a check but I think the train from Temple Meads comes thru my Station (Didcot) before going to Birmingham....well I say that, I know we have a direct train to TM from here, but don't know where the train goes after that... I may have to change at Oxford

well sarah, if it does indeed go through your stop and onto birmingham maybe we can time it right so that we get on the same train. I will have to go from temple meads though as i cant get to parkway on my own... i shall go and look now at what stations my train passes...
no in order for me to go through didcot would mean me having to change trains and add 3+ hours on my journey
*btw sorry everyone for clogging the thread*0 -

I was looking to head back around sometime after lunch.... depends on the trains really, and what else is going on.

I'll have a proper look in the morning, but I think its that one. If we were going to London, I'd be fine cuz I can do that with my eyes shut.... and I have an pocket A-Z to take with me so I don't get lost
*writes note to self to look in cheap bookshop tomorrow for a Birmingham one*

Just wanted to say that the offer of somewhere to kip is definitely there to any who wants. I've got a double futon, a long sofa, and can get folding beds if needed! I'd hate to think people are spending £50 on a room if they don't need to.
I can't wait. The nerve-wrackingness is all part of the fun, that and the fact that people NEVER conform to your mental image of people. I used to go meet people off the internet all the time when I was 15 or 16. (my generation's version of walking along the train tracks, I guess)0 -
