Do you mean the parking firm sent their WS & evidence dated 12th Sept so they were late?On 7 August a letter from local court says if witness statements etc must be received to court by 4 September otherwise the case would be Struck Out.
The parking company sent their information to court on 12 September.
Should he contact the court to see if it's Struck Out?
More to the point, he does realise I hope that the local court letter meant HIS WS & evidence, too (not his defence - that's just an early case statement, a foot in the door only).
Has he filed a WS and evidence yet. Maybe he is still OK as you said:he has had word from the court but no date.
Maybe he needs to ring the local court to check where he is at. They are there to help.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for this reply.
Yes on the 12 Sept the parking firm was late with their evidence.
He has filed his WS and evidence.
He has just sent a SAR request0 -
Ah, so was it one of those Judges who asked for both sides' WS & evidence before any hearing date was set? Sensible approach from that court, if so.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
