Car People sold car with finance

Ok just to give a final wrap up, as most OP's don't !
Based on the 2nd HPI( which had data) and Car Peoples lethargy, add on his youthful desire to get a new car tomorrow, he did call Vauxhall finance.
They confirmed there is no fianance outstanding ! just a left marker as someone previously posted.
Took him a whole 5 mins...where as CP were still dithering.
Vauxhal emailed a confirmation letter to him.
Guess what... Car People still refused to buy the car ! as despite the letter "the computer" still showed a marker.
So in the end in frustration he went back to WBAC and they at least saw some sense and accepted the letter at value and purchased the car. Yes they low balled him (as expected) but finally its gone...and so are Car People ! never again.

The legalities of it are your son does not own this vehicle and Vaxhall could come take it at any time.
