.....But there's nothing like warm fluffy towel when you get out of the shower !!
Anyway why do they make heated towel rails if you aint supposed to put towels on them ?
  • The radiator will still warm the room but more slowly. It will also increase the humidity of course.

 Since when has a radiator ever made a towel go fluffy?

For fluffy towels, they should be dried (or at least finished off) in a tumble drier. Otherwise they are like cardboard.

OP - just tell her if she does it any more that you're going to start handwashing your pants in the bathroom sink where she cleans her teeth.

Thats exactly why that make them so you don't put the towel on the radiator.
Now if you've replaced your radiator with a heated towel rail rather than added a heated towel rail - thats not really our issue

    to the OP
I bet she overfills the kettle too.

In a house, I always chuck my damp towel over the banister to dry off.
Right now I have a small place, so I have a shower, then chuck the towel on the normal towel rail. It's always dry by next morning even though there's no heating in there at all.

The house will get damp and you'll have all sorts of chest problems due to this.

This has got me thinking about radiators in general now, does it make a difference when my 90x90 curtains are pulled and the radiators are behind them? All my radiators in my house are under the draughty/single pane windows
