Indeed - what did you check with the court?

Theres a reason i TOLD you to keep checking. If you have missed the DQ, for example, you lose. Thats it.
What does MCOL say about the status of the Claim?

There's a phone number for the CCBC on your Claim Form.

You could always download a DQ from the internet and return that - as suggested in post #10 above.
  • Ok - I have checked. I feel a bit stupid for missing it. Had a rough few weeks.

But I have until 19th November to fill out a Directions Questionnaire. Thanks for making me aware.

Tonight, I will download the N180, flll it out and email it to ccbc@justice.gov.uk

I will have a read through how to properly complete it.

    Thanks all

No, not to that email address.

    Send it instead to ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk.
  • Yes - ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk

Auto correct for some reason took out the aq. I will triple check the email before sending.

I assume I don't want mediation service? So tick no?

I will CEC16 to prep myself. Thanks for the advice.

No need to assume. Bargepole's 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES thread tells you exactly how to answer every question on that form.
  • Found it, thanks
  • Also - do I have to send a copy of the N180 to the claimant? I cannot find any clear info on this

Advice on the DQ itself is to send it ONLY to the address on the form and similar advice has been found on other law sites. However, the claimants these days seem to delight in sending a copy of their DQ to defendants - maybe to frighten them into knee-jerk reactions - but I've seen nothing that states do NOT send to the claimant.

Yes you do also send it to the Claimant, as I am sure bargepole's COURT PROCEDURES thread tells you.

Have you red CEC16's thread and learnt about the Southampton hearing yet? It is not a precedent but everyone can use what won at that hearing, for their own cases.

Consumer Rights Act 2015 means the signs are unfair if you argue it with knowledge of that law. It will be key to most WS & evidence now, all the time PPCs keep trying to claim £160 for £100 'parking charge'.
