I don't know but it might be that you would receive more useful help if you talk to organisations that do outreach with people who are homeless, if you have any MH/addiction problems, it would be better if you found more specialised help. Council's are so used to saying no even to people they should be helping, they aren't necessarily geared up to help as much as they could. Its so wrong but it is how things are, so have to find ways around that.

Don't know where you are, but as you can post on here, hopefully you have enough internet access to be able to search for local organisations. I would have thought you do this, but have you any access to outreach workers on the streets? Some of these can give food vouchers and might be able to point you in the right direction to get one. If the worst comes to worst, go back to the council and ask where homeless charities are in the area.

I hope you get the help you need.
  • I was put in touch with a charity by council.. They said they will try put me in a hostel in a bunk bed. I can't stay on my own as it with my severe depression, let alone sleep with other people on the room.. Only last I self harmed myself again..
Council says the charity did try and help you..
It's even worst for mental state.. After 3 suscide attempts.
Will citizen advise, will they Deff help me with food? As I am always hungry with no food.. I have lost over 6 stone since march when I lost my house.

Have you contacted CAB for help with the food voucher?

When is your next UC payment due?

Shelter may also be able to give you some advice about housing.

Depends on the area to an extent.

Some CABs give out food vouchers. Ours doesn't but we know where the food banks are and how and where to get vouchers

    I'd ring and ask

Most food banks limit it you to the amount you can get and the number of times you can go there. I know it's hard but you will need to keep looking for somewhere to live

I seem to recall you were living with your mum and you got evicted. Where is she staying? Sorry if I have that wrong
  • 28th is my next Payment, but I only get 317..which is not a lot when homeless..
Apparently I will get extra money from end of next month for my sickness from what I was explained.
  • What is a cab?
Yes my mum is put into a shelter accommodation due to her ill health and and her old age.. But I can't live there, and there is a warden there.. I am all over the place at the min
