i recently bought a Proline, 26" from Comet and it was only £299.99.
HDMI, Scarts, and hd ready.
No freeview though.
Still perfect for my PS3!!!!
Keen photographer with sales in the UK and abroad.
Willing to offer advice on camera equipment and photography if i can!0 -
Thanks very much for the replies, my budget is around £600 but i have to purchase from PC World, Currys, The Link or Dixons as i have vouchers.
I've seen a couple on currys website but they're not stating what the response times are, neither are they widescreen which i would prefer,
I will find one soon as the vouchers are only valid for 3months0 -

8ms response, 3*HDMI, freeview tuner, and under £600That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
By 8ms - do you mean the time it takes to change channel.
I am in the process of sending a Samsung tv back as the time changing seemed to be ages.0 -

No they mean the length of time an image shown on the screen takes to lapse or dissapear. 8ms or less is the period of time it should take before it becomes too noticeable and displays as motion blur or ghosting.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

Yeah, motion blur is quite noticeable more with some displays than others, fast action the quick scrolling of credits / banners if difficult for a lot of displays. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

If its when you are using freeview then thats the nature of the beast, using the channel up/down buttons is usually quicker than pressing the individual number buttons. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
