Good to 'see' you Kathrynha. I'm glad to hear your health has stabilised and it's not surprising that you feel down with all you are dealing with. You seem to have some good support from the GP and your Mum. Wishing you and your family the best.
Vegastare congratulations on getting to target - well done!:T
Today's Menu
B 1/2 grapefruit (S) with 1/2 tsp sugar (1/2) toast (HEB) with a light cheese triangle (part HEA)
L BNS soup (S,F) Left over beef stew (P, S, F - 1.5 for gravy)
D Baked salmon (P) new potatoes (F) Green veg (S)
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Sorry to hear the problems and troubles that some people have. I find sometimes that focusing on what I eat and poring over recipes and syn values is what distracts me from problems. I have had my fair share over the years, but not at the moment, so ignore me if what I have said doesn't help at all! But then I am that type of person that loses weight when stressed, so might not apply to most.
I lost 3lb 13oz! Yay. Obviously completely happy with that. Realistic enough to realise that it won't be like this every week, but like I posted somewhere else on the web, if you lose big every week, you'll soon have excess skin to worry about instead of excess weight! Slow and steady.
Today's plan:-
B - Coffee (HEA1), Watermelon (S), 2 x Oat Muffins (HEB, 1.5)
L - Crustless Quiche (HEA2, S, F), Salad, Cucumber, Radishes, Spring Onions (S), WW Yogurt (0.5), Hula Hoop Pufts (3.5)
D - Garlic Chicken (1.5), Potato Wedges (F), Carrots, Parsnips (S).
S - Alpen Bar (3.0).
Tea (HEA1).

So I am loosely following SW, I am not joining the local group as I cant stand the woman, years of working in a pub and her being the customer – that’s just the way it is. Eek. However I am doing quite well but I need inspiration for lunchtimes, I literally get twenty minutes at home once the dog is sorted so needs to be easily prepared or already prepared…. and to stop me reaching for crisps or chocolate... Hit me0

Evening,
Good to see friends returning and popping by here, and newbies too. All very much welcome
Currently sat in hairdresser salon having hair coloured and cut after work, and it’s notnin a town where I know a local shop to buy a quick bite to eat. Spotted an Iceland so nipped in for some of their SW ping meals - also going to try their sausages. Grabbed a loaf of bread and some low fat spreadable cheese in there, made myself a sandwich in the car with a spoon I found to spread it with. Totally off plan, decided the day is a write off (I had a sandwich for lunch as not been shopping so had no salad). The downside of being too busy to shop at the weekend.
Line drawn - tomorrow is a new day.
I hope things improve for you Penny. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Great loss pollyanna. Just one note on your plan - parsnips are just Free not Speed - they are too starchy to be Speed.
Just finished the Spanish rice and really enjoyed it. Looked a bit "beige" so chucked in a couple of handfuls of peas for colour as well as they are quick cooking and the rice was virtually cooked!
