  • The warranty was offered by the shop when purchased as part of the sale, I have an email supplied from the shop from LG stating that the part is no longer available so it cant be repaired to its original spec but surley if they orignally stated they would be paying out on the warranty do they not have to honour that? As per this statement “ This means that if a product covered by Retracare breaks down outside the manufacturer’s warranty period, we will cover the cost of repair, including parts and labour charges. If it can’t be repaired, then we’ll cover the cost of a new, like-for-like, replacement.
3D tvs are no longer madeso not sure how they would offer a like for like?

4 years of use before it ‘went wrong’?

    Odd

Have you seen a newer model you prefer then?
Why is it "odd". Things break down.

50% of reviews say the extended warranty company are poor.
That might just be because of people making frivolous claims, but be prepared for a fight.
Others report retracare won't get involved if the original repair was in the manufacturers warranty period.
