Cash Generator

I recently put items into cash generator with a buy back option. I went there today to collect my stuff and they told me it was too late as I was 2 days over the buy back period.
A lot of my things were of sentimental value and others were worth far more than they gave me.
Where do I stand on being able to buy my things back at the original buy back price?

Can't have had much sentimental value if you were selling.0

You stand outside the shop with a sad face.0

A sad face may be OK, but what you need is a compo face. You’ll need a council facelift and something to point at if you want it to be effective. Use the examples here as a primer before you contact the local advertising paper;

If they still have the items, and they're now selling them - you buy them, surely? If they no longer have the items then you can't. Not sure what advice you're seeking really.0

I wasn't selling just borrowing money against it0

Obviously you don't understand cash generators way of working.
You give them an item and they give you say £50 you can buy it back 28 days later for £65 but if you don't it goes on general sale for about £1500 -

If you understood how it works why didn't you go and buy back your goods at the agreed price within the 28 day period?0 -

Then I think you've answered your own question. You missed the chance to buy back at the lower amount, so you either forfeit the items or pay the current price to buy them back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
