Is there a website just called voucher? Or do you mean somewhere on this website?
Thanks.

I use a cleaner/sanitiser aerosol once a year.
I had my car's a/c checked last year, at 4 years old, it had lost around 50g of the 350g charge of refrigerant gas (R134a). As has been said, connect to a machine, evacuate, pull a vacuum (moisture removal and leak detect) and refill with correct mass of gas and oil. The machine does it all. £40 at a local independent. Main stealers wanted £95 for the same thing!
My a/c is on all year, climate control system.0 -
Pollen filter should be the first job & every year IMO.0

Thank you so much, sorry didn't notice the "w":oStopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
Just about the same risk as any aircon wether fixed or mobile. Changing the pollen filter on a regular basis should help but there's not much else you can do. There's no way you can reach the heat exchangers/evaporator anyway so using an antibacterial spray seems a bit pointless to me.
Something else you can do before leaving a car to stand for a while is dry out the evap coil area. Switch off the A/C while driving* and leave the fan running for a good while. Since bacteria like damp, that should keep them in check.
*Send the air to the face wents rather than windscreen though, or it will fog up!0 -
when you motor is already warm run the heater on full whack/max temp and the aircon at the same time.
the raised temp will kill any bacteria.0 -
I change the pollen filter in both our cars every year (easy to get at and about £10 each), theres bound to be a tutorial on YouTube for your car.
I also use the can you leave in the car, think its called 'aircon bomb', about £14 for 2 cans delivered. Crack it open in the car with aircon on recirculate and let it work.0 -
3 different things
1 - Recharge the coolant gasses in the Air Con system - To make sure the system is running at the correct pressure, and so you get the best performance
2 - Deodorise. As people have said, the cans you buy and set off in the car do the job for a few quid
3 - Filters. Always change the filters, all of them, at regular intervals. The cabin-filer or pollen-filter is the one associated with the air con system
Just saying "An AC service" doesn't mean anything - it could be #1 or #3, or all 3 of them.0 -

Because its not aircon any more, its climate control, you should leave it on all year long. It will also demist your windows.0
