I’d not heard of people with multiple personality disorder actually emailing each other before. Your gMail makes interesting reading.

I would love to know the full story to this, I can only imagine something dodgy af has happened for the account to be closed, you have 20 minutes to do one and clear off. Impressed with TSB they aren't hanging about with this!

Aren't the banks meant to give a set number of days notice before closing the account ?

OP had you ignored/not opened any post from the bank ?

I just don't buy it that they only gave you 20 minutes notice.

Trust you? You were in hospital recently for major psychological issues, are posting here as two people and have no understanding of what a bank account is.

The FOS requires that you have exhausted the standard complaints process before escalation to them so won’t entertain a complaint anyway.

I’ve fixed your quoting as you can’t get that right either.

Normally true but not when they close your account, you're told to go straight to the FOS as the banks will not accept a complaint (Personal experience from HSBC).

3 types; Immediate, 7 days and/or 30 days notice; all depends on what you've done or what they think you've done.

How can they give 7 days AND 30 days notice? It's simply an or isn't it, ie no and applies?

But there are at least 4 types anyway, because at least one bank/BS gives 60 days unless the breach is really serious.

Sorry, using 'and' wasn't correct, not hard to work out it was a simple typing error....

60days? What one gives that, seems a little odd giving you so long if they want to end a relationship but I guess it's all in the T&C somewhere.
