    Sounds as if they may. Presumably the deferral was agreed on the basis that you would suffer hardship if they made any deductions. If your entitlement is now higher it is logical for them to review that decision and to start making deductions. You will be paying off the debt but will presumably still have more money coming in than before.

    Whether or not they will take a large chunk out of any backpayment due we cannot know. In the longer term it is in your interest to be paying these off.

    Sorry, don’t understand what you mean. Regardless, I don’t think anyway on the forum will be able to confirm what DWP will do as regards recovering your debt.

    I deffered the advance and budgeting advance as I am homeless.. Lost my hose in march.. Since then my depression increased

    No one has been negative. The reason i asked was because this is far from normal what happened today. Usually the decision comes weeks after the assessment took place, certainly not 10 minutes later.
