  • OK thank you.
So I've read the newbies #2 bit...
so collect correspondance until a LBC turns up.
Respond to the LBC with SAR to the data protection officer but not to use their forms.
And then await a court date and prep a case from there...
And as Im not "low income" or on benefits, I'm liable for court fees right? Unless I win, and then I can request them to be reimbursed??
    Thanks all.

Correct, although, as Umkomaas points out, you don't have any court fees. I misinterpreted your comment. You are, of course, able to claim your costs as well if/when you win.

You could send the SAR now. Then if a LBC comes, you'll be ahead of the game.

There are no court fees to pay by the Defendant, unless they lose or are issuing a counterclaim, or at some stage applying for a set aside (unlikely to be relevant provided you deal with all the paperwork of the claim).
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Please can we just park all UKCPM (or any other IPC firm) threads at this stage?

See you all in 2020 when you get claims, as that is when you win. No risk, no CCJ s long as you keep UKCPM informed if you move house, so you do not miss any letters - but please no telling us about them until LBC stage!

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • I've had another letter from them demanding payment that I'll ignore.
No reply to my SAR yet.
However, just looked at the time and date... I wasn't there then. And it appears to be day light but it says issues at 20:44.
Also, no picture of the notice, just 3/4 of the rear of my car and the empty spaces. I've read that ukcpm pay people to shop motorists?? Is that legal? What about data protection, gdpr? How do I know this hasn't been photo shopped?!
