NO lol
if the pool of buyers is small you could loose or mis a buyer. I have seen properties on the market for 4 year before they sell.
4 years living life ready for last minute viewings, and being on constant internet display to all and sundry sounds like an extended living hell! People are obviously masochists. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

its not the 80's/90's lol
You can schedule viewings or only take viewing on certain days/times.
Online systems give you more control.0 -

Yeh, but in a stagnant market, if someone is really serious about selling, they need to have everything, house and garden, constantly tip-top and show ready in case a last minute viewing wants to view. Otherwise they may miss that one person who would have bought, but could only view on an 'off day' or when the house was a mess. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Ye...I am not keen on those possible buyers. if they can't see passed small things then they need to look at new builds.
Anyway as long as you get a day or so notice you should be able to tidy up to a standard you can take viewings. if your house is a tip chances are your not going to get it spotless anyway rofl
i don't care how messy a house is when i view. i can see past it and have no intention of moving in with the owner lol . it makes no difference to me that a seller lives in a !!!!!! tip lol
It will bother many buyers viewing a messy house.0 -

Why does it bother you so much how other people choose to market their properties?0 -
Why is your life on display by having pictures of the tidy house online? Just dont be one of those people who leaves personal photos up. Its not like its a live stream. The listing is available online for years after its sold anyway (eg Rightmove when looking at sold listings).0

I don't know what sort of state your house is in but it doesn't take long to get ready for a viewing. And it's not a set of big-brother style live cameras for god's sake, just a snapshot of one point in time when the photos were taken.

Buyers tend to prefer show homes, which is why professionals do it that way. It's no surprise a house takes 4 years to sell, if the seller is a bit of a slob. Anyone who likes 4 years of strangers traipsing regularly round their home looking everywhere must be a masochist. A year off before trying again would be a great relief. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Every house that has been for sale in the last five or six years is still available to view.
Must be a lot of masochists about!0 -

mmm NO.... lol. Your showing them around the house. They are not there to look in every nook and cranny.
Unsure what your buyers are doing. Any prospective buyers we have had just look around the house (escorted). They don't move things or look inside cupboards lol
Why would it be in short notice. same day is short notice. not next day.0
