Wrong time stamp

Received PCN for private car park at hotel (PEA / PCN Parking Solutions). Paid via app, but due to circs beyond my control overstayed. However PCN gives completely wrong time stamps. I can prove (from third party official organisation data) the car was elsewhere during the time period it was said to be at the car park. The PCN also states "no valid payment found" - I don't know if this is significant; but I can prove that payment was made via the app for that date.
I am weighing up whether to appeal. They do not directly state that I lose the 14 day discount if I appeal to them and lose.
Any advice? Thanks!

Please confirm the name of the PPC as there are four with Parking Solutions in the title that I can find.
Of course you should appeal.
Forget the 14 day discount for mugs. You want the 100% MSE discount.
Appeal using the initial template in blue from post 1 of the NEWBIES.
If you have proof the car was elsewhere, complain to the DVLA that the scammers had no business accessing your personal data. Supply said proof the car was elsewhere.

Thanks I have read the newbies thread and was considering adapting the template...
The Creditor is described as Parking and Enforcement Agency Limited (but confusingly there is also reference to PCN Parking Solutions at the head of the letter).
The point I was trying to get was that the vehicle did actually overstay but their time stamps are wrong. On the basis of their purported exit time I can prove the vehicle was elsewhere (about 20 mins before the purported exit time), so could not have been in the car park when they said it was.
Still worth appealing?
If they turn down my appeal do I still lose the early payment discount?
Thanks.0 -
Is this N. Ireland ?0

I did appeal to the operator, and I have just heard that I was successful and the PCN has been cancelled. Thank you for your help and support and I would urge anyone else to try the same and also to check the time stamps.
I would also add that it is pretty appalling that these operators are issuing PCNs on the basis of data that is wrong - the time stamps were wrong here.0 -
