Self employment following redundancy

I've recently been made redundant, and with guidance from ACAS will be filling in early conciliation forms to take the matter further, as I feel it has been unfair.

Since my redundancy, I've been approached by an area manager for the company to ask if I'd like a couple of months fulltime work on a self employed basis, a different role to the one I was made redundant from.

If be working for XXX on behalf of XYZ rather than XYZ directly.

Obviously financially I can't afford to turn down 2 months pay, but will this affect the early conciliation/employment tribunal process?

Any advice much appreciated!

Thanks :D
