Long delays on the A12
Why did the pl**ker driver stop dead in the road instead of pulling off?
The police were on the scene but that normally means even longer delays.
With any luck the driver will get prosecuted for causing an unnecessary obstruction.
Why are these lorry's not better maintained?

It was in lane one right by a large opening it would of been very easy to pull over even if whilst slowing down by rolling there
I’ve been driving along quite happily, gently pressed the brakes and been sent in to a spin as the rear right break bound. It left my car parked parallel to a T-junction blocking anyone from entering or leaving the street for an hour until I managed to get it loose.
Then there’s also the chance of the slightest incline negating any ability to roll, they weigh a lot, when physics isn’t in their favour they stop pretty quickly.
Although I’m guessing there isn’t a justification you would consider reasonable in this instance. As such... yeh scumbag how dare he delay you.:rotfl:0 -

They're designed to do that (stop the truck as quickly as possible) there'd be no "rolling" anywhere.
Guessing the driver had a far better understanding of what was happening than you.
You could have tried giving it a push . . . :rotfl:0 -

You could have tried giving it a push . Ha Ha
There was a break down van that had parked in the opening with a pipeline from it to the lorry - someone said the lorry had spilled oil - so they could have pulled off0 -

Not if it was hydraulic oil.
You need to appreciate you’re ignorant as, well an ignorant person!0 -
I am quite sure if the lorry could have been moved the police would have had it moved0
