Phishing Protection options can be found on the Security preferences pane. On Windows and Linux, go to Tools > Options ... > Security. On Mac OS X, go to Firefox > Preferences > Options ... > Security.
You can test to see if Phishing Protection is enabled by browsing to our test site. If Phishing Protection is turned on, a warning dialog will appear.Ex forum ambassador

I didn't receive a letter of apology, though if they're going out unsealed (and with the way the mail has been performing lately, letters going astray etc) I suppose I should be thankful0

Not having had a letter wouldn't reassure me at all, I'm afraid! So much of our post never arrives, I'm sure some if it ends up at the local Ministry of Defence HQ (our house has a similar name). We get some of theirs, of course, just wish I had the nous to do something profitable with it!Signature removed for peace of mind0

I honestly don't know whether that idea is good or absolutely crazy
I suspect the latter!0 -

Cheers, I did that already but it didn't specify anything.0

Oh right. Does the icon on your desktop not tell you what version you're running? Or is it when you click on 'About' that it does that? It works that way for Firefox and I thought it was that way for IE too ...
Alternatively, just download Firefox ... although there's some banking sites it doesn't work properly for!Signature removed for peace of mind0
