    Well not for me!

Assuming you mean the HomeEnergy Fix Green Sep2020, then they quote me 17.774p/unit and 21.86p SC on a consumption of 7200kWh pa.

This works out at over £400 pa more than Symbio, who I have just moved to.

Just done a comparison on CEC and Avro & OTM are cheapest on a 12 month fix without an exit fee, but they have poor on no feedback, Symbio & Zog are not even on the list, did you use CEC to find them or another comparison site?
They do not appear on all comparison sites. I went direct to the website to sign up. Symbio were the lowest priced electric tariff I could find at 12. p/kwh 15pDSC, no exit fee on the one year fix.
    Zog Energy gas was 2.92 p /kwh plus 15 p DSC .
That gas tariff can beaten by dual fuel smart meter installation fixes but their electric tariffs were poor. Separate gas and electric suppliers were the lowest rates for me in S.Yorks

I cannot get the new BG tariff as I already have BG Homecare cover as a separate policy, anyone with BG homecare already is excluded (which seems bizarre to me as a customer already and I pay the extra for no excess cover, which you do not get on the BG Energy Tariff) so I am penalized for paying for a freebie!

Symbio and Zog appear on uSwitch, you just need to use the flters down the left to show gas or electric only, and also tick the box to show all tariffs not just those you can switch via uswitch.

this was mentioned recently, apparently if you're already a homecare customer, you just don't get the freebie..

When I looked at the Tariff conditions, it said that existing BG Homecare customers were not eligible for the Tariff.

    I will check.
  • I went with EDF Simply Online Apr21v3, which is fixed until April 21, has about the best tariff for the Big 6, switched with Uswitch for £20 Amazon voucher through Pouch, much better than the tariff OVO were going to move me onto.
