Parking Charge Notice - Highview Parking

Hello,

I recently received a parking charge notice from the above company, as i over stayed my welcome in Tesco, Glasgow, by 14 minutes.

They followed up their original letter with one received today, but the part that concerns me is the large red writing on the their notice

"Your ability to obtrain credit in the future may be affected if we have to take this matter to court"

Is this true? I didn't think these could effect your credit rating?
Can someone confirm?

I’m not saying whether the PCN is justified or not,
But if they applied for a CCJ and won the case, then yes - this would affect your credit file quite significantly.

    Edit -
Sorry - skipped over the bit where this is in Scotland.
Ignore the above, it doesn’t apply.
  • You overstayed so pay the fine?
  • Thanks for the awesome reply Gary!!! You are great!!! :T

The problem is they sent the initial letter to the wrong address, so i didnt receive it.

Theyve then sent their reminder, and their bumped up fee (of £110) to the wrong address today also.

Luckily my neighbour, who just came back from hospital after being long term ill handed the letters to me today.

So you can see why I am asking this question.

If you have nothing positive, or constructive to say in relation to THE question. Please take yourself elsewhere. THANKS!

as this is Scotland , as keeper you can ignore it

ideally complain to Tesco and get it cancelled

on the other hand , because its only HIGHVIEW , you can send the blue text template from the top of THIS forum , in post #1 of the NEWBIES thread , appealing as keeper , they should cancel it within days ( or in hours ) once they see that template appeal from a keeper

no revealing who was driving , careful with their drop down boxes to ensure that DRIVER is not selected

ignore some of the previous idiotic replies , they havent got a clue what they are talking about

the main thing is NEVER reveal who was driving , especially not in Scotland
  • How did you neighbour get the letter if it was sent to an incorrect address?
  • Gary,

Just keep out this forum, clearly youre quite clueless and cant follow a written sentence.

The parking notice was sent to the wrong address, twice being the same WRONG address, the wrong address being my neighbour. I stay in a block of flats. They sent the letter to my neighbour, the wrong address. my neighbour has been in hospital and got home last night,

this morning she handed me two letters.

Is that clear enough for you, or shall I have my 2 year old explain it for you?

    CCJ (County court judgement)

They cannot apply for a CCJ, the rabble PPC's and legals in the parking scam use this as a scare tactic

It's first got to go to court and a judge will decide who is the winner.
If it's the PPC who wins you will have up to 28 days to pay. If yOu pay in time = NO CCJ = NO AFFECT ON YOUR CREDIT RATING

If you win and claim costs then the PPC is given xxx days to pay you.

ONLY ONE PERSON CAN START THE CCJ ROLLING, THE JUDGE

There are too many interpretations about a CCJ ... 99% are wrong
