I've just signed up for airtime rewards (if anyone does, check the referrals board first, might as well maximise it) as Argos are on it, and I know I'll be buying something expensive for OH this month, so will get quite a bit off of my phone bill
Boots & Wilko are both on there, both of which I frequent lol
Sounds good, they're all stores I use a lot:T. Just a bit confused though, what's the 'airtime' bit about?0 -

Hi all, I currently am between home addresses as we are buying a flat (sloooooow solicitors) ...having completed on the sale of our previous place back in June, so we are temporarily living in a quite isolated caravan park for another month or two. I haven't resumed matched betting as I think I need to have a fixed abode for when they ask for a recent bill and passport for ID, plus I guess I'll have to manually change my address in all the bookie sites and exchanges too. I am mostly doing surveys while we are here, but have taken some notes from the suggestions in the August and current £10 a day thread to hopefully find some more ways to make money before we move in. I do Swagbucks, Prolific, YouGov and Curious Cat so far. I went to join Populus live but as it is a cheque for payment, I'm pretty sure they need an address... can anyone recommend which sites / apps would be good to join in my current circumstances? Looking forward to when I can do ebay and MB again, I really miss those avenues of income! I like curious cat as they seem to give you a penny for most screen outs, no matter how many in a day and in general I find them less painful than swagbucks, but they don't come with all the little extras that make the latter still worthwhile. I was able to join them just via facebook sign up no address questions.
Cheers!0 -

I posted apps I use on last month's thread.
yes for MB you need to prove current address etc due to new legislation and money laundering rules.
what is your situation? do you have local shops? how about receipt apps?
if you are not working or have time in the evenings, you could try the microapps like bemyeye, roamler, etc.
I stopped doing them when the tasks got silly and so did the money, but others still like to do them and feel they benefit from the income.
also have a look at the up my income board, difficult to tell without more information what you are able to do. lots of ideas on there.0 -

https://www.airtimerewards.co.uk/#how-it-works
link for anyone wanting more information.
airtime refers to what the actual product is - mobile phones use airwaves to transmit and airtime is an old phrase for the transmission of mobile phone signals.
Air time (broadcasting), also spelled "airtime", available hours for broadcast or time purchased for broadcast
Air time (mobile phone), also spelled "airtime", top-up for mobile roaming services
borrowed
Among the most frequently asked question for any mobile phone company is the query, "What is airtime?" Mobile airtime is the same for contract, pre-paid or pay-as-you-go cellular customers, and is defined by the amount of time you use your mobile network.
Definition
According to Verizon, one of the world's leading wireless phone providers, airtime is defined as the time you are connected to your mobile phone network. This includes making calls, retrieving messages and data use. (See Reference 1.)
Types
Airtime can be used by anyone with a cell phone. You can pay for it through a billing cycle (contract), pre-pay through a plan such as T-Mobile FlexPay, or through cards purchased at merchants around the world. The only downside is that some prepaid minutes expire if not used within a designated time. (See Reference 2.)
Considerations
According to Fixed & Mobile Private Limited (operating as TransferTo), two-thirds of the world's 4.5 billion mobile phones are prepaid mobile phones. Most of that airtime is purchased through scratch cards or electronic pin numbers, and can be shared with another subscriber of the same mobile service. (See Reference 3.)
Misconceptions
Airtime and airtime minutes are not the same thing. Airtime minutes are the talk time used on your phone, but are just a part of the overall airtime charges you can incur from a mobile provider. Some disposable phones now have the ability to talk, text, send MMS (multimedia messages) and browse the web. All of these functions use airtime.0 -
Thanks for all that interesting information, Aesop, and the link to airtimerewards:T. I'll have a good look. Do you use this one?
I know what 'airtime' is but it was how the rewards bit fits in that seemed strange when it was first mentioned on here. I'm just used to getting vouchers, cash or points off things bought somewhere. The world is full off apps that I've never heard of:o. My resolution is to do more with my phone as I know there are so many money making opportunities out there. This £10 a day thread is proving to be a mine of brilliant information:j.0 -

Many thanks Aesop, yes I'm going to work my way down through the list of apps you gave in August and see what I can do... we are in a very rural spot though so mystery shopping type tasks will have to wait until we've moved to our new flat. No shops either (30 min walk to nearest convenience store!), but I might sign up for some receipt apps regardless, just to learn how to do them, ready for when I can use regularly. I'm not working currently, ebay was my main job up until end of last tax year. We thought we were moving to Dubai but it all changed dramatically. Pretty sure I'll start up on ebay reselling again, but also thinking of part time job hunting. A daunting prospect TBH though as it's been many years since I've had a 'normal' job lol... feels like starting from scratch with cv not updated etc etc. Now that 15yo back at school and teacher hubby too, I'm itching to make money during the day, but doing just surveys is a bit frustratingly slow. Thank you for directing me to the up your income board, will deffo go now to check it out! Also, wondering what 'daily clicks' are? ...but I'm sure it will become apparent when I join those sites!

Had an email today from UNEX accepting me on their posting panel:j. Thanks, Aesop, for mentioning it on the August thread, I'd never heard of that one before:beer:. I applied for the other postal surveys months ago but am still 'on hold' as they don't need anyone in my area at the moment:(0
