Yes the Arlo Pro looks good but it’s very expensive. The basic Arlo system with the base station plus one camera is about half the price - I think I’ll have to go with this. The info claims the camera’s battery charge lasts up to 6 months which sounds a little unlikely.
yes you can get up to 6 months. But if you have it on all the time with it triggering all the time it will be be a lot less

As this is for 'door answering' when your in, would you be better off looking at a doorbell that can trigger a light?
