Coupon-mad, that is a perfectly crafted statement I would have never been able to even think of.

    Thank you very much.

I'm printing my exhibits, but I noticed there is an inconsistency between the cases I need to append as evidence (taking from post #14 HERE) and the case numbers mentioned in my WS and in post #14

The evidence I'm printing has two claim numbers:
    F2QZ4W28 and E8GF1V7V

But in the WS I'm about to send to the court I mention
    F0DP201T and FTQZ4W28

F2QZ4W28 matches the court and the claimant/defendant, but E8GF1V7V is a totally different judge and claimant.

How do you suggest I proceed?

C-M - I am not a huge fan of this
It says the sigsn are unlit and so cant be seen
Later on they say the signs were seen
It muddies things a bit to me. COuld it be worded?

Fair comment, I think the reasoning behind this comes from https://www.dropbox.com/s/w0geh9snpo3imue/image_262353.jpg?dl=0

The PPS sign (on the right) is small font and it was dark so I did not really register it when I was parking, what I did see was the sign on the left that has a larger font and did not make me think I was entering into a contract.

Also just to make sure I'm understanding your point, would you mind quoting the conflicting wording so I can try to change it?

I was trying to get across that the driver did see 'customer parking only' (but only that) and that the actual terms (and certainly the small print about a parking charge) could not be read at all in the dark, and they reasonably understood that a term like the above could only apply in opening hours.

By all means re-word it to make more sense.

    Hi Everybody,

so, today I had my day in court and here it's how it went,

I arrived in the court 40 min before my hearing session, registered with the usher and waited, I was reading my defence and witness statement to make sure I did not forget anything during the hearing.

I was called in the court room 15 minutes after my hearing was scheduled to start and to my surprise the claimant did not show up.

The judge decided to strike out the claim and accepted in full my schedule of cost of around ~200£, said goodbye and that was the end of it.

This entire process, from when I received the claim to the conclusion was not fun, specially for who like myself is not legally trained and steps in a court for the first time.

In the end I'm glad I stood for what I believed was right, I would not have been able to do so without the help from the people of this forum, this bullying/scamming behaviour from these parking companies must stop. But to be honest I hope not to have to go through this ever again.

    Thanks
