  • I do have some news hopefully for next summer. I am planning on applying to do Camp America, either next summer or 2021. So this will be great for my CV and then during university i do have a years placement abroad in the middle of the year but i have no idea where that might be yet

Start applying for jobs ASAP as there will be huge competition for them. Make sure you pack a pair of trousers, a dress shirt, tie and shoes when you move so that you have something to wear to interviews.

This doesn't stop you applying - by the time they interview, you should have a better idea. Also, seems very odd that the timetable isn't set by just a few weeks before term starts...

Fair enough - but even so, crack with the applications.

I always worked until Christmas Eve, finished work, got picked up to go home with family and then returned back to uni the day after Boxing Day to fulfil my contract at work. That was my choice.

    Y

Sam- nice to see a bit more of a positive thread compared to your normal ones but to reiterate Marks point you will be much more likely to get a job if you provide greater flexibility....what Mark did I did and it secured me a job for the 3 years at uni
