Fine except the only contract I have with them is one of the O2 12 months free cashback deals. Anyone else had this? Is there a non 0871 number for these clowns?

It is now yours to do what you like with.

You don't have to give it them back.

Under the Unsolicited Goods and Services Act 1971, (as amended) it is an offence to demand payment for goods known to be unsolicited, in other words, they were sent to a person without any prior request made by them or on their behalf.

Someone who receives goods in these circumstances may retain them as an unconditional gift, and does not have to pay for or return any unwanted goods. Anyone who receives a demand for payment for unsolicited goods should report the matter to their local Trading Standards Department.
However, in the case of unsolicited goods received before 1 November 2000, the recipient is required to give notice to the sender to collect them within 30 days, or otherwise to wait for 6 months, before being able to treat the goods as their own property.

Spoke to E2save, althougth the orders department had me down as ordering the 12 month cashback deal they 'incentives department' had me down as getting a free PS3. Options were keep the PS3 or have the cashback (£540 so no contest really)

Obviously they couldn't organise the proverbial in a brewery but I am now wondering where I stand if I cancelled my contract. It is with O2 and they have recently blocked 07987 numbers so I might be able to cancel but I wonder if CPW (e2save) would try to make a clawback from my credit card or bank account under the cancel for any reason within 6 months T&C. Not sure exactly who provides the billing anyway with CPW O2 contracts.

Anyone any thoughts?
