Maybe he likes the "fridge-freezer/freezer" so much he ordered three of them.

That could be why they won't deliver. Multiple orders look odd. Perhaps they suspect reselling.

Does that matter, really? If PCW are getting their full retail price I doubt they'd be too concerned about the consumer trying to sell them on for even more.

Was looking on one of the review sites about Currys/PC world only last week after a bit of a nightmare with what looked like some deliberate mispricing/mislabeling in store.. This scenario appears to be one of the commonest complaints. Frequent missed deliveries followed by cancellation and a very, very long wait for the refund.

They have never had a particularly good reputation but really seem to be going to the dogs pretty rapidly at the moment. A cynic might suggest that sort of behavior looks like a company with serious cashflow issues. Best steer clear and order elsewhere i think.

They have a separate business to business arm that has different t&c's to their consumer arm. I would imagine they don't want to confuse the two.

I appreciate that. But the B2B arm would (probably) be selling products for less. The consumer arm would probably be selling for full retail value. If the "consumer" was then selling it on, any warranty rights would be void for the person subsequently buying so PCW wouldn't have any liability. :)
