Poor service from Currys PC World

I bought a new Fridge/ Freezer on 02/08-2019 with 5 years extended warranty and haven’t had my item delivered as yet .
I was offered delivery dates on 4 occasions - with no luck . I have complained Gand got £40 in compensation and still awaiting the delivery.
To my shock whilst I was checking my e-mails I was so angry to see that my order has been cancelled . NOT BY ME !
I thought let the forum explore the next options . Please advise accordingly

What do you want to do ??Apart from contact the vendor .

Wait for delivery or cancel order .


They may well have cancelled the order for many reasons , no stock , long delivery times . or they dont want to supply you .

No it’s the same order !
Reasons given for goods not delivered :
Vehicle too long or high ! I was reassured on each occasions a suitable vehicle will deliver the goods.
I do not want to cancel the fridge - freezer/freezer cos I like it

Do you live somewhere difficult to get to? Maybe along a country lane or somewhere with lots of overhanging trees that haven't been cut back so are too low? Their reason sounds like there is something not allowing their vehicles to access your home.

The only advice I can give is to re-order it or go elsewhere and order it. That will probably be quicker than trying to unpick the problem with the original order.

Bin lorries , trucks , vans & other vehicles use the road regularly !

That doesn't answer the question though. Are there access problems or not? Just because one some people squeeze through areas in vehicles that are too big doesn't mean that everyone will if there is a chance the vehicle will get damaged. Most councils have smaller trucks that they call lanes lorries to go down small tracks and difficult to reach places, they are both smaller than the full size trucks and more suited to off road tracks that they are likely to encounter.

There is no access difficulties as far as I know . Vehicles are seen every day on the road

Maybe he likes the "fridge-freezer/freezer" so much he ordered three of them.
