I'm not sure we even have clarity over what was a bank transfer vs a debit card transaction, or debit card vs credit card, since the card appears to be linked to the current account.

Halifax uses automated phonecalls not SMS for bank transfers, does it not? (been a while for me). So SMS codes would be generated in response to card transactions, not bank transfers.

We're over 20 posts into the discussion now, with 6 posts from the OP, yet even the most basic details are still unclear.

To be honest, I think we both know why, and have done right from the start.
  • PPI company Hidenda, now demanding that I sign the letter of authority so that they can claim for me but now, only revealed there’s charges from the banks and it might come out of my pockets! What should I do? Will I be in trouble if I just don’t answer them?
Could this be fraud as well?
    HELP! Thanks.

What you should emphatically not do is to hijack someone else's unrelated thread - if you feel that the responses elsewhere weren't sufficient then start your own thread or find one that's relevant to post on....

    Agree with the above comments...

NO it is not FRAUD. It is clearly stated they charge 20% + Vat =24% which is taken from your payout.
